Abertis closes an agreement with the Imagina group for the sale of its stake in Overon

Abertis sells 51% of Overon to Imagina, in an operation that will have a “maximum” amount of 41 million euros until 2016.

Abertis Telecom has reached an agreement with the Imagina group (in which Mediapro participates) that will culminate in the sale of the 51% stake that Abertis has in the audiovisual services company Overon, to date consolidated by the proportional method since the Shareholders' Agreement did not grant control, for a maximum amount of 41 million euros until 2016.

The operation is subject to authorization by the National Competition Commission.

This transaction represents another step in the company's focus strategy and
optimization of Abertis' asset portfolio.

Overon, a company created by Abertis Telecom and Mediapro to provide audiovisual services, is today one of the leading companies in audiovisual transport in Spain. Through its terrestrial and satellite infrastructure, as well as its means of production, it offers engineering, consulting and liaison services.
