AEQ completes its family of IP products for broadcast
At IBC 2013, it will present new equipment, including a new Audio Over IP system capable of linking AEQ consoles and routers and those from other manufacturers, sharing up to 512 audio channels over a Gigabit Ethernet network.
Two decades after its first participation in this fair, AEQ renews its commitment to the European broadcast market with its presence for another year at IBC.
It is noteworthy that AEQ will present new equipment from its family of IP solutions for broadcast in Amsterdam.
Among this year's novelties, the new AEQ Systel-IP stands out, a set of multi-line on-air communications systems for talk-show and multi-conference radio and television stations, using VoIP technology that allows for cost reduction and improvement in the quality of communications. This solution comes in versions of 4 lines for 2 studios and 12 lines for 4 studios.
On the other hand, highlighting the new Audio Over IP system, a complete solution that links AEQ consoles and routers and those from other manufacturers, sharing up to 512 audio channels over a Gigabit Ethernet network, transporting audio synchronized and with inaudible latency. AEQ has developed modules with 32 input channels and 32 output channels for the Forum, Gran Forum and Arena consoles, 16 channels for the new Capitol IP console, an autonomous interface with 32 Netbox 32 audio channels for central controls, another 8 channel interface to provide IP connectivity to pre-existing analogue and digital studios, as well as a link in multiples of 32 channels to link the new Audio Over IP system with the Titan-BC 2000D matrices. up to 5120x5120 channels.
Another point of interest at the IBC 2013 stand will be the new Phoenix Stratos Double Full Duplex stationary audiocodec, a versatile audiocodec for scenarios in IP+ISDN transition. The previous year, the exclusively IP audiocodecs with software control Phoenix Mercury and Phoenix Venus were presented. Now, AEQ presents the range with a double full duplex audiocodec, which presents the benefits of Phoenix Venus and the advantages of complementing the IP link with one X21/V35 and another ISDN/ISDN, with automatic back-up between them, and having a fully operational front control panel.
Coinciding with the development of the Audio Over IP system, AEQ now launches the new digital console for Capitol IP radio broadcasting. Based on the configuration of the already popular Capitol, in addition to being able to connect to a network via MADI like the previous one, you can alternatively connect via IP with 16 input channels and as many output channels.
AEQ has developed a new surface with new function selection and routing keys, more programmable keys, a new layout of the control and monitoring module encoders and an exclusive CUE reset key.
Finally, highlight the new Sonata on-air digital audio processor. With it, AEQ enters the broadcast audio processing market with high-end 4-band equipment at a very reasonable price. It incorporates 20 factory presets to be able to choose the sound signature of the station or chain for the simplest setup, and another 20 user presets to be able to make the most exclusive configurations. In addition, it offers automatic preset change by clock and remote control and adjustment over the Internet.
