Telefónica Studios was born with the firm purpose of consolidating itself as a major player in the international market, a source of quality projects first in Europe and Latin America and later also in the Anglo-Saxon markets. Currently, Telefónica Studios generates a production that ranges between ten and twelve films per year, almost the same number of projects generated by several of the large Hollywood studios.

Telefónica's vocation as a producer has been a constant for some time. And proof of this is that in the last five years three divisions of the company have produced films and TV series: Telefé, Telefónica Producciones Media Networks and Telefónica España.

Among these projects are successes such as The secret of his eyes, The Adventures of Tadeo Jones y a chinese tale, all of them feature films with international impact that have been released in almost fifty countries with more than 14 million tickets sold worldwide.

Asimismo, coproduce con algunos de los principales partners de cada región, como Telecinco, TVE, Antena 3, El Deseo, 100 Bares, Plural, Nostromo Films y K&S, Historias y Tornasol, entre muchos otros.

Regarding television series, the company, which has already participated in the production of Isabel, which is now premiering its second season, and Loving in troubled times, plans to make series for Telefónica's pay TV (Movistar TV and Movistar Play) starting in 2014.
