Atresmedia acquires the rights to the innovative talent show 'Rising Star'

Keshet Broadcasting's original format is fully interactive, taking television entertainment a step further.

Atresmedia TV has acquired the rights to the talent show Rising Star, one of the most requested formats in the latest edition of MIPCOM. The show is produced by Tedy Productions for Keshet Broadcasting.

It is a fully interactive format that goes one step further in television entertainment. For the first time, viewers will be able to vote in real time through an innovative free application (TV app to you) fully integrated into the show.

The program premiered in September on Israel's Channel 2 and breaks audience records week after week with an average of 44.6% audience share. Through the application, which has already had more than 1.5 million downloads, more than nine million votes have been registered.

Rising Star It will also soon be adapted in France (M6), Germany (RTL), Russia (Rossiya 1), the Nordic Countries and Italy. An agreement has also been reached with the American channel ABC and with the Hungarian channel TV2.
