Soundcraft Si Vi mixers can now be controlled with the ViSi Remote 2.0 app

Soundcraft, a brand belonging to the Harman group, has announced version 2.0 of its ViSi Remote application for iPad. This allows you to remotely control the Vi, Si Compact, Si Performer and Si Expression series mixing consoles from an iPad tablet.

With ViSi Remote 2.0, the sound engineer will be able to move freely throughout the venue and adjust the mixes and other audio parameters directly from their iPad.
With the ViSi Remote 2.0 app, Si Compact, Performer and Expression users will now be able to configure settings for each channel, including Noise, Compression and EQ Gates, as well as Pan, LR/Mono routing and phase reversal switches. This functionality will be added, in future updates, also for Vi series mixers
The ViSi Remote 2.0 app provides a wide variety of benefits for the sound engineer, including: optimization of the FOH mix from anywhere in the venue; adjustment of the levels of monitors located even next to the artist; remote adjustment of all channel parameters from the console; access to all available faders from a single layer; Use the “offline” mode to familiarize yourself with the functions of the console, as well as control all mixers connected to the same access point (for example, FOH and monitor). A separate control surface is included for DMX functionality (Si Performer only), which also allows multiple users to control their own mixes.
