LG OLED 105''

Visitors to the stand LG At CES 2014 you have the opportunity to discover the entire range of new OLED televisions: the largest curved OLED model with Ultra HD, the 77EC9800, along with different 55 and 65-inch OLED equipment. Also on display in Las Vegas is the sleek Gallery OLED and the greener curved OLED model, the 55EB9600.

The 55, 65 and 77-inch curved OLED TVs combine LG's exclusive WRGB technology with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). In this way, a new level of quality and immersive viewing is achieved. The 77EC9800 fills the viewer's entire field of vision with a well-contrasted image with maximum resolution. In terms of design, it has an elegant leaf-shaped base. In addition, it has been recognized with the coveted Best of Innovations award at the CES 2014 awards.

The color temperature of each pixel on the 77-inch model is automatically controlled by the LG Color Refiner, to offer superior consistency and good balance. The infinite contrast ratio it offers is controlled with the company's High Dynamic Range (HDR) algorithm. On the other hand, this television also offers Ultra Cinema 3D. Thanks to FPR technology and Ultra HD resolution, the viewer will be able to enjoy the most realistic 3D effects ever seen, without having to endure annoying flickering or interference.

To enrich the offering of high-resolution content, the 77EC9800 has been equipped with the Tru-ULTRA HD Engine Pro, which allows content to be scaled in standard definition, HD or Full HD up to a resolution close to 4K. In addition, the processing has an error correction algorithm that avoids blurry images in the enlargement process and guarantees the smoothest results. The TV also features Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC), which makes the action on the screen smoother, clearer and more realistic.

Consumers will also find that LG's curved OLED models are future-proof, capable of playing Ultra HD content in H.264 and HEVC H.265 formats at both 30p and 60p. A practical integrated decoder makes it possible to view Ultra HD content through the HDMI, USB or LAN ports. Along with all this, the 77EC9800 incorporates the new Smart TV platform that allows you to enjoy the connected television experience in a simple and intuitive way.

Future investment

In the face of growing global demand for OLED TVs, LG is establishing production bases in different countries. The company has already completed the construction of new plants in Brazil, Poland, China and Thailand. In Mexico there is another plant in the final phase of construction and it will begin this year to produce OLED televisions for the North American market.

With the creation of this global production network for OLED televisions, LG demonstrates its commitment to the development of these next-generation equipment. With the launch of the different strategic production plants that will supply its nearby markets, LG seeks to reduce export costs and increase the competitiveness of its prices.
