With an outstanding improvement of its operational margins, a solid positive financial position, a debt -free balance and a adjusted net profit of 49.3 million euros. This has concluded Mediaset Spain 2013, a year still marked by the sharp fall of the advertising market on television, which has experienced a 6.2% contraction, despite which Publiespaña has re -leaded television advertising investment with a market share of 43.7% (Infoadex Source).

Mediaset España Halograd an improvement of 34% in its gross exploitation result (adjusted Ebitda) with 87.2 million euros, which represents a margin on net income of 10.5%; and a growth of 44% in its net exploitation result (EBIT) until it is 70.2 million euros, which represents a margin of 8.5% on net income.

The operational costs are located at 748.6 million, which represents a 9.8% reduction compared to the previous year despite the launch of Channel Nine and the broadcast in 2013 of sporting events such as the Cup Confederations of Football and the Eurobasket.

The adjusted net benefit has risen to 49.3 million euros, which represents a margin of 6% on income.

The impact of intangible amortizations of four and digital+ derived from the definitive allocation of the price of acquisition of assets and liabilities of these companies (Purchase Price Allocation, PPA) and the net impact of the deterioration test carried out on the participation in DTS Digital Television Distributor in application of international accounting standards finally shows a net accounting benefit of 4.2 million.

The 2013 fiscal year concludes one more year for debt -free Mediaset and with a positive net financial position of 93.5 million.

Mediaset Spain leads the advertising market with 802.2 million gross advertising and Publiespaña reaches a market share of 43.7% on television.

Regarding the total advertising revenues achieved (which include own and third -party supports), a commercial policy adapted to the evolution of the audiovisual environment has allowed Mediaset España to remain at the forefront of the audiovisual advertising market with a total turnover of 802.2 million euros of total advertising income in 2013.

With regard to Publiespaña, the company has closed the year as leader of the television advertising market in our country with a market share of 43.7% (Infoadex Estimation).

On the other hand, Mediaset Spain has obtained 60.3 million euros mainly from the sale of cinematographic co -production rights, as well as interactive developments with the audience and merchandising carried out from the Commercial Directorate.
