Vizrt Maxon Cinema4d

Vizrt has announced a new integration with its Cinema 4D 3D modeling, painting, rendering and animation solution. Maxon. This integration, which will be presented for the first time at NAB, will allow Cinema 4D projects to be imported directly into Viz Artist, including Cineware, the new direct link update tool.
Gerhard Lang, director of engineering at Vizrt, admits that this is "the most complete import of geometry, lighting and animations into Viz Artist and Viz Engine of any 3D modeling package. Cinema 4D scenes are imported directly into Viz Artist without the need to install Cinema 4D on the Artist workstation. 3D objects are imported either as a primitive counterpart object directly into Viz Artist or as meshes."

Cineware, the new live docking update tool built into Viz Artist, allows designers to make changes to a scene in Cinema 4D and see the updated changes live when Viz Artist is set to on-air mode. Cineware updates objects as well as container properties such as position and scale.
“Maxon provides a very good SDK (software development kit) so it has been very easy to integrate with Vizrt solutions.”
