Nubeox launches a premium service with a flat rate

Atresmedia's online television expands its offer to become a complete content platform that includes some of the most prestigious pay channels on the audiovisual scene, as well as more than 1,200 movies and series on subscription.

Nubeox, the Atresmedia group's online video platform, is making strong progress in its growth plans with the launch of its Premium service.

If until now the platform offered the possibility of renting and buying movies and series on demand, from today users can enjoy an offer that combines pay TV and subscription content, for less than 10 euros per month and without a commitment to permanence.

In the new Nubeox service the user will be able to rent and buy new releases; follow the best series channels live shortly after their premiere in the US (including catch up), and a wide catalog of films and series.

Furthermore, and within its multi-device vocation, an ambitious calendar has been designed that will incorporate the different options. Currently, Nubeox can be consumed on personal computers, iPad tablets and Samsung Smart TVs.
In the coming months, LG connected televisions and Android tablets will be added, to continue with video game consoles and other manufacturers.

Channel offering

In its initial phase, the Premium service gives access to ten premium channels (Fox, TNT, AXN, Disney Junior, Calle 13, National Geographic, SyFy, Fox Crime, AXN White and Disney XD), as well as more than 1,200 movies and television series to consume without limits.

To facilitate the user experience and guarantee quick access to the catalogue, the platform incorporates several navigation possibilities, ranging from the use of filters (which delimit searches by genres, periods or collection figures) to access to selections made by the Nubeox team.

In addition, and as a notable novelty, the platform incorporates the creation of thematic lists by users. This is a Playlist, which Premium members can share, providing a social experience that will be completed with new tools and utilities in the coming months.

Finally, it should be noted that the Atresmedia platform maintains the exploitation of its extensive catalog of films, available as a rental and purchase option. The novelty in this area is that, from now on, content (rented or purchased) can be downloaded to view it offline, both on PCs and Macs and on tablets. Thus, the user will be able to enjoy the content they have chosen without having to be connected to the Internet (on train or plane trips, weekends in places without coverage or wherever they wish).
