Media Networks is making World Cup streaming possible for users of Movistar's 4G LTE network in Peru. Javier Izquierdo, director of Wholesale TV Operations at Media Networks, has assured that "at Media Networks, as the main pay TV wholesaler in Latin America, we have significant expertise in video processing for DTH and CATV. The natural step was to expand our service offering to OTT and digital video over the Internet, a field in which we see great potential and we are interested in continuing to explore."
“We are very excited that this development has become a relevant product to boost sales of 4G cell phones, especially on a date as important as the Soccer World Cup,” added Miguel Rabi, Project and Planning Manager of the TV Wholesale Management.
