Australia's ABC will route all its signals with Platinum from Imagine Communications

The installation of Platinum at ABC makes it one of the largest projects in its category carried out in the southern hemisphere.

El broadcaster australiano reemplazará sus matrices existentes con una infraestructura flexible, escalable y totalmente compatible con HD por una matriz de gran escala Platinum. Entre otras ventajas aportará una amplia gama de funciones de distribución de señales, incluso en la entrada de fibra de conmutación, gestión de audio y multipantallas integrados. Platinum IP3, the most recent evolution in Platinum technology, provides these benefits and a path to a future in IP environments. With the possibility of multi-format routing up to 576x1024 in a single 28RU frame, Platinum IP3 can perfectly scale even above 2Kx2K in multi-frame configurations and without interruption to on-air operations. Its architecture and redundant crosspoints characteristic of Platinum IP3 guarantee maximum reliability, with a significant cost reduction.
