Its D2h pay television service has 11 million subscribers

Videocon d2hThe Videocon pay TV platform is ready to get ahead of TataSky and Dish TV in India and launch the first regular service in 4K resolution. Its D2h pay TV service has 11 million subscribers to whom it provides 22 high definition channels.

Now, the company promises Ultra-HD “very soon,” although it hasn't specified exactly when.

Videocon CEO Anil Khera admits that "after Videocon D2h has implemented many firsts in the DTH sector, we once again want to take the lead with 4K Ultra-HD services that will revolutionize the offering of audiovisual services in the country. In addition, it will provide images with such clarity, details and nuances that the differences will be incredible."
