Comments lamenting his loss have flooded social networks, especially Twitter, and have placed the hashtag #Chanquete, created by RTVE, at the top of global trends.
A little over thirty years ago, Pancho, the young delivery driver played by José Luis Fernández, ran disconsolately along the beach of a town on the Costa del Sol to tell his friends one of the worst news of their lives: Chanquete had died.
