Comtec increases its HD workflow with EVS XT3 and XTnano production servers
The improved HD workflow that the Mexican production company has implemented will provide speed and flexibility in order to improve the efficiency and quality of its productions.
The Mexican producer Comtec is improving its HD workflow for remote live broadcasts with EVS technology to improve productions for clients such as TV Azteca, ESPN, Concacaf, Telemundo, FOX, TDN or Univisión.
Roberto Pérez, general director of Comtec, has highlighted that “high definition solutions from EVS They have been instrumental in helping us deliver the highest quality and reliability in the production of live events, private networks and webcasts. “Our customers expect the highest quality results and our latest investment in EVS technology is key to helping meet our customers’ expectations.”
Multiple, flexibly configured XTnano HD/SD slow motion replay servers enable Comtec mobile units to ingest audio/video files, record live feeds, offer live slow motion and super motion, as well as create clips and control playout of playlists.
The workflow is supported by an 8-channel XT3 production server. Based on EVS's unique continuous loop recording technology, the XT3 seamlessly blends storytelling with high-definition output, precise editing and the human touch to create compelling storytelling. The XT3 server offers native proxy creation, 4K zoom, live multi-angle review, and an industry first: 12 ingest channels for recording.
