Telemetrics RCCP-2A

En Integrated Systems Europe (ISE 2025), the company specialized in robotic camera control, Telemetrics, will show at booth 4N860 a series of new improvements in several of its solutions that help streamline the most complex production workflows

These important improvements include the addition of new functions for the RCCP-2A robotic camera control panel and the latest version of LP-S5 robotic pan/tilt head that operates in a pedestal elevador Televator EP8 Mini. All of these products aim to help robotic camera operators work smarter and various robotic systems move more smoothly, accurately and safely.

The RCCP-2A dual joystick robotic camera control panel will be demonstrated live with new software enhancements and additional support for third-party cameras and devices. This now includes Grass Valley's line of native IP cameras, as well as the Sony FX6 camera and the CNA-2 Camera Control Network Adapter. Through all of its highly reliable robotic camera control panels, Telemetrics now natively controls all of the latest cameras from Blackmagic, Canon, Grass Valley, Hitachi, Ikegami, Panasonic and Sony.

New operating software features

Among the new software functions that will be demonstrated at ISE, stand out Studio View which allows operators to view a 3D graphic reproduction of the studio environment directly on the panel itself, with real-time location of camera pedestals and rail systems. New to ISE, the sTelemetrics TG-4/-5 tracking systems They now support Telemetrics' exclusive safety features for collision detection and prevention. Special safety sensors can now be added to props so that if an anchor table or floor monitor has been repositioned, it will be displayed in real time in the Studio View of the panel.

As to Power View, benefits users of the LP-S5 pan and tilt head in combination with Telemetrics PS-RM2-48 power supply and control panel with real-time monitoring and power status of multiple devices.

Telemetrics has added real-world values in real time to improve team operations. This improved feature now shows more real world data on the performance of the robotic equipment at any time.

A new function of the LP-S5 pan and tilt head allows the augmented reality and virtual reality of curved tracks in a more optimized way. This provides a large improvement in the robustness and accuracy of virtual curved track systems (Telemetrics TG-4 and TG-5) for virtual sets.

Telemetrics has continued to improve its reFrame automatic shot correction software, a feature of the RCCP-2A control panel with Studio (STS) or Legislative (LGS) software. The innovative talent and object tracking software not only ensures that on-screen talent stays in the frame even if they move or slouch in their seat, but with its AI and facial recognition algorithms, the software can run a production in fully automated mode without operator intervention. Additionally, the functionality of the control panel's top row of eight "TeleKeys" is now more customizable, and the operator can customize key functions on the fly to run a production their way.

Telemetrics LP-S5LP-S5 head

He unique counterweight system The PT-LP-S5 allows for quick, easy and accurate setup, even when a teleprompter, trust monitor and other components are mounted on the head. Multiple cameras can be quickly set up, with pan, tilt and pedestal parameters accessed with the push of a button on the camera base (eliminating the need for a dedicated control panel). In addition, LED indicators warn in real time if the load is unbalanced. Ultra-precise mechanics provide smooth movement and 0.016-degree accuracy, making the PT-LP-S5 ideal for virtual set applications.

Finally, in terms of pedestals, Telemetrics will show at ISE 2025 the latest generation EP8, which includes new hardware that allows the robotic camera cart to move faster and quieter, especially when combined with a floor or ceiling rail TeleGlide TG4 straight and curved. Reliability has also been improved. The EP8 can also be securely mounted on the rover OmniGlide or on a camera dolly for virtually unlimited live camera movements.

Telemetrics staff will also discuss the innovative OmniGlide mobile robotic platform, que, con su diseño triangular único, ha cambiado literalmente la forma en que se mueven las cámaras de estudio en un estudio de producción.
