'10,000 Km., 'El Niño' and 'Living is easy with your eyes closed', preselected to represent Spain at the Oscars
Among 89 national productions, there have been three titles selected from which the academics will now decide, in a voting process, which one will finally be chosen.
10.000 Km., by Carlos Marquet-Marcet; The boy, by Daniel Monzón; and Living is easy with your eyes closed, by David Trueba, have entered the race to be the film that will finally represent our country at the 87th edition of the Oscars, which will take place on February 22, 2015.
Among 89 national productions, there have been three titles selected from which the academics will now decide, in a voting process, which one will finally be chosen. The Spanish representative will communicate on September 25.
In an event held at the Film Academy and sponsored by Hamilton, Úrsula Corberó and Javier Gutiérrez, accompanied by Enrique González Macho and the notary Eva Sanz del Real, unveiled the films shortlisted to compete for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film: Marques-Marcet's film, 10.000 KM, which will have a commercial launch in the US; The boy, by Daniel Monzón, which has swept the box office, earning a whopping 7.5 million euros in two weeks; and Living is easy with your eyes closed, by David Trueba, which won six awards in the last edition of the Goya Awards
