Barcelona FM, the new BTV radio station, broadcasts in streaming with Filmotion technology

The new Barcelona Televisió project aims to continue its process of proximity and public service through waves.

This Thursday the regular emissions of the new municipal radio have begun Barcelona FM, a project from Barcelona Televisió that aims to continue its model of proximity and public service through waves.

The radio station, in addition to being able to tune into dial 91.0 of the FM, can also be heard in streaming from Barcelonafm.cat Thanks to the technology of Flumotion, company specialized in streaming services.

Carlos Alonso de Porres, Commercial and Communication Director of BTV, stressed that “we launch the Barcelona FM project, a radio station that aims to inform the citizens of Barcelona 24 hours a day, and once again we have opted for Flumotion to offer the streaming broadcast of the broadcaster through our website”. BTV trusts Filmotion since 2012 for the online broadcast of its television contents.

Barcelona FM offers local scope content taking into account the interests of the citizens of Barcelona. The information is the basis of the offer of its programming, and is complemented by the issuance of some BTV programs.
