Hello! Diary

Hello! TV, the pay TV channel of the Atresmedia group and the emblematic ¡Hola! magazine, has managed to seduce the audience month after month. And having just completed its first year of broadcasting, the channel has managed to awaken popularity in a previously neglected content niche, according to the latest Business Bureau report.

Compared to October 2013, the audience of the only channel about royalty, celebrities and lifestyle has grown by 63% and achieved a share of 3%, which gives it a direct pass to the Top 10 of the most viewed channels of the Variety Genre on the pan-regional platform DirecTV.

Ignacio Sanz de Acedo, CEO and general director of ¡Hola! TV, highlights that "the response from viewers could not be more positive due to its stability and for exceeding all expectations, even surpassing channels with a long history."

Successful bet

Regarding the most followed programs, the report highlights World Hello!, hosted since October by Michelle Badillo, and Hello! Diary, presented by Ana María Monroy. However, cycles like HELLO! Cinema, which premiered as recently as last month with Daniela Di Giacomo at the helm, are also achieving excellent results by earning a position in the Top 10, which shows the great versatility of the channel.

Other contents of HELLO! TV about fashion and lifestyle of the stars have also surpassed other well-established channels with content of the same subgenre. As Sanz de Acedo declares, “the data confirm that the strong commitment to own production, which will increase in 2015, shows us that we are on the right path.”

With distribution in all Spanish-speaking countries, including the US Hispanic market, Venezuela is the country where the highest audience peaks are recorded. Likewise, the time preferred by viewers to connect to ¡Hola! TV focuses on latenight and primetime on Fridays and Saturdays.

Finally, the report ensures that HELLO! TV, with a well-defined target, has reached 24% of the platform's subscribers.
