Overon deployed a large operation to cover the elections in the United Kingdom

A total of 16 DNGs and 1 fly away, along with around twenty professionals, traveled from different European headquarters to report on the general elections.

Overon sent a total of 16 DSNGs and 1 fly away, most of them via ferry from Santander to Portsmouth, from several of its European headquarters to cover last week's UK general election. A total of 24 people worked on this production, including satellite operators, camera operators and producers.

Overon provided coverage to Globecast and SIS Live from various locations in Wales, Liverpool, London and northern Scotland. The large dimensions of the deployed operation required detailed planning, which began five months ago with the confirmation of all the required vehicles. Each of the 16 DSNGs reported live from the information centers with the results of the constituency they covered, from 11:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. the following day.

Overon also carried out occasional services from a privileged location, the Saint Thomas Hospital (in front of the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben) for Spanish clients such as TVE, Antena 3, Mediaset, ETB and 8TV and international clients, including M-6 (France) and Servus TV Fernsehen (Austria).
