Eyevis, protagonist of the video walls that make up the new OTE Sport studio

The new study of the Greek chain OTE Sport is equipped with six videowalls in different configurations that have been designed with the Eye-LCD-5500-XSN-LD monitors of Eyevis.

Ote TV is a Greek station that has a high audience in the world of sports. Its OTE Sport thematic channel offers more than 50 live broadcasts per week in all types of sports.

This channel that has been in Antena since 2009 has since last February with a new study that has a state -of -the -art technological equipment and has the resources to produce programs directly in high definition.

Bon Studio, partner de Eyevis, has been in charge of the project that proposed a new concept for audiovisual infrastructure. The screens were required to offer high quality by visualizing high-resolution images and, in addition, they had to be narrow bezel and have anti-reflex surfaces to avoid any type of brightness when the lights of the studies turn on.

To respond to these requirements Bon Studio proposed the use of Eyevis Eye-LCD-5500-XSN-LD equipment with the matrix and assembly that best adapted to the needs of OTE Sport.

For this installation, a total of 36 monitors have been used that are part of different videoWall configurations: one of 3 × 6, two of 2 × 2, one of 1 × 4 and one of 1 × 3. Likewise, the study also has three other monitors that are hung and are integrated into the study scene. All Videowalls reproduce video and graphics through a central server.

The LCD-5500-XSN-LD screen presents a narrow bezel so that it is possible to create Videowall with a space between 3.5 mm screens. This 55 -inch panel offers a 700 cd/m² screen shine, a contrast ratio of 1,200: 1 and a vision angle of 178º in vertical and horizontal. Its high level of brightness and high quality of images is provided thanks to the direct-back-backt and 10-bit processing characteristics.

It is a team that is presented as an alternative to the 500 nits version for places where there is a great luminosity, as is the case of the OTE Sport study, which is designed to function 24 × 7.

For uncomplicated installation, this screen is equipped with an internal matrix function and Louptough functionality for RS-232 control and chain digital video signals distribution.
