The engraver Ovide Koko, protagonist of a new event in Barcelona

The Barcelona headquarters of Ovid On Monday, July 3, they will host the presentation of the Ovide Koko engraver, whose first batches are already reaching the market.

He Ovide Koko It is the first hardware resulting from the purchase of technology from Convergent Design from Ovid. Este monitor-recorder with functions of video assist, which takes the nature of the Ovide Smart to the next level, was presented last September at IBC 2022. Now, about a year later, the first batches of the solution, which will be presented in detail at the Ovide Barcelona offices next July 3 in two sessions: 12:00 y 16:00.

Ovide Koko, developed entirely in Ovide's R&D department, is equipped with a 10" touch screen, recording on SSD disks, 6 12G-SDI inputs/outputs, USB-C connection, audio input/output and Ethernet connection. Designed for digital film shooting, it allows working with cameras such as Arri, Sony, Red and Canon, and does not require additional software to perform video assistance functions. In addition, it adds utilities such as automatic capture of metadata, clip database, histogram, waveform, focus assist, zebra, false color…
