Ovide presents the new ARRI Amira in Madrid and Barcelona

La nueva cámara es capaz de grabar hasta 2K a 120fps con un rango dinámico de 14 steps pero a su vez es más ligera, pequeña y su consumo es menor.

Sin duda fue una de las grandes estrellas en las últimas citas internacionales del sector, y ahora por fin ya está disponible para su alquiler en España de manos de Ovid la nueva cámara Amira de ARRI.

Diseñada a partir de la popular Alexa compartiendo cualidades como su magnífico sensor, la nueva cámara es capaz de grabar hasta 2K a 120fps con un rango dinámico de 14 steps pero a su vez es más ligera, pequeña y su consumo es menor.

En Ovide ya está disponible con montura PL, y en unos meses también estarán disponibles las versiones con monturas EF y B4 (broadcast), pensando en reducir los costes en rodajes.

Recording in ProRes formats up to 4:4:4 in HD and 2K modes with frame rates up to 200fps, the Amira camera also includes all the standard Alexa frame rates, plus some interlaced frame rates (59.94i and 50i) that many broadcasters require. All recording runs on CFast 2.0 cards, which are very fast and offer a good cost per gigabit rate.

It should be noted that it is very easy to equip the Amira camera for immediate use, without the need for assembly or delays. With the camera operator simply shouldering the camera, everything is ready to start recording, making this camera ideal for complicated shoots where the action is unpredictable and the work performed must be of excellent quality.

Integrated motorized ND filters, plus zebra and false color tools help control exposure, while an advanced peaking function ensures easy, fast and precise focusing.

The Amira camera is unique due to the number of LUT-based 3D images it already has pre-loaded and can be applied during filming. Alternatively, productions can customize their own 3D LUTs in external calibration systems, load them into the camera during prep, and even modify them in-camera while shooting.

Los días 18 y 19, Ovide hará la presentación oficial de esta nueva cámara en sus oficinas de Madrid y Barcelona respectivamente y a medio día los asistentes podrán disfrutar de una barbacoa al aire libre.
