Ovide presents Smart Assist M-Series at NAB 2022

Following its success at the London BSC Show, the Smart Assist M-Series product range from Ovid It debuts on the American market in an unbeatable setting: NAB 2022.

The new systems Smart Assist M-Series, based on the previous Smart Assist Evo, have started to integrate the chips of Apple M1, which makes these devices “astonishingly powerful” according to the company itself. Ovid.

At the range Ovide Smart Assist M1, present in NAB 2022, is available in three versions: Dual, with 2 SDI inputs to record up to 2 HD cameras and 6 SDI video outputs; Quad, con 4 SDI inputs that allow filming with 4 HD cameras or a 4K camera, and 12 SDI outputs and small OLED screens to name each input and output; and Octo, a new version that has 8 SDI inputs to shoot with 8 HD cameras or with two 4K cameras, and that has 18 SDI outputs and small OLED screens to label inputs and outputs.

Ovide has been in the video assistance market since 2013 and, since then, it has been growing to become one of the main manufacturers of video assistance systems specially designed for Qtake HD, the world reference in software for this niche within the large film industry. Thanks to this alliance, Ovide has managed to introduce its systems in major global blockbusters, and among the most recent ones stand out Spider-Man: No Way Home, The power of the dog, Dune, The Batman, Top Gun: Maverick, the dragon house y Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
