Sport TV (Portugal) deploys a new studio with Alfalite LED screens

In collaboration with your partner Dec.image, Alfalite has supplied the Portuguese sports channel Sports Tv three UHD Finepix AlfaCOB 1.5 screens, made up of a total of 75 panels.

The installation of these screens offers Sport TV superior image quality, guaranteeing a optimal performance and exceptional durability, key factors in sports broadcast environments that demand maximum precision and reliability.

Luis Garrido, executive director of Alfalite, has been proud of "that our technology has been selected for a project as innovative and important as the new Sport TV set. The integration of our screens will provide a first-class visual experience while contributing to the energy efficiency of the studio."

The panels chosen for this project, the Alfalite UHD Finepix AlfaCOB, are specially designed for mission-critical environments such as control rooms, crisis management centers and executive meeting rooms, as well as for broadcast environments and virtual sets that require fine-pitch or microLEDs.

The new AlfaCOB protection provides these modules with greater durability (>100.000 horas), una lower failure rate (PFR <5 PPM / año), un extraordinary horizontal and vertical viewing angle of 175 degrees, as well as a greater contrast, colorimetry and image uniformity.

Furthermore, they present a superior protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD > 10kV), mejores parámetros de disipación térmica y una excelente resistencia a impactos (≥10Kg), líquidos (≥IP65), productos químicos y fuego (conformidad UL94-0).
