Philips launches a professional monitor in a medium size with UHD 4K
The new BDM3275UP monitor offers 10-bit color for greater naturalness, gradation-free color reproduction, Philips flicker-free technology for brightness regulation and an IPS-AHVA panel with advanced viewing angles.
MMD, a company with a brand license for the manufacture of Philips monitors, has just launched a new screen with 4K Ultra High Definition resolution. The new BDM3275UP monitor, with 32 inches (a new size for Philips monitors with this type of resolution) responds to the growing demand for demanding resolutions in relatively modest screen dimensions.
With 3840 x 2160 pixels, UHD or 4K resolution, the packages include four times more pixels per inch of screen than Full HD (1920 x 1080) monitors and offer four times the clarity. This latest Philips 4K UHD (Ultra High Definition) Display creates an even more comprehensive range of ultra-high resolution screen sizes, already featuring 28-inch, 32-inch, and 40-inch models.
Like its peers in the 4K line, the BDM3275UP display offers 10-bit color for greater naturalness, gradation-free color reproduction, Philips flicker-free technology to regulate brightness and reduce this problem, as well as an IPS-AHVA panel with advanced extra-wide viewing angles of 178 degrees, so the image can be viewed from almost any angle.
Speaking about the new 4K UltraClear UHD resolution display, Thomas Schade, Vice President EMEA at MMD, acknowledges that the 4K UHD clarity and brightness of this monitor "really makes a difference to the viewing experience, retaining excellent precision and detail, even when users divide their screen into several areas. At 32 inches, the screen is large enough to create a great feeling of space, and yet, it is compact enough to leave enough space on the desk."
With super-fast connectivity options including Display Port for data transfer at speeds of up to 10.8 Gbps, MHL for streaming mobile content (while charging the mobile device at the same time), universal HDMI and USB 3.0, this new display allows users to connect to a high digital bandwidth and enjoy uncompressed video and audio with zero latency refresh in 4K UHD quality.
It is also built with stereo speakers that offer high-quality audio to complement the viewing experience. The screen also features Multi View technology, so users can simultaneously view streams from two devices (PCs and laptops, for example) on separate partitions of the screen. Thanks to the pixel-rich clarity of UltraClear 4K resolution, each partition remains sharp and bright at all times.
