Telecable adds the RT channel in Spanish to its offer

TeleCable, the main cable operator in northern Spain, began transmitting the high-definition signal of the Russian channel RT en Español, which is now available to both subscribers of the basic package and the premium package, Tedi.

In this way, RT en Español is now available on the six main pay television platforms in Spain: Ono, Orange, Canal+, Movistar, Telecable and R, as well as on the AOTEC operators. TeleCable is the fifth largest pay television company in Spain.

Between 2014 and 2015 RT en Español has considerably increased its influence in Latin America and Spain. There are already more than 900 private television operators that retransmit the RT signal in Spanish in this region.

In 2014, the RT en Español network entered the list of state television networks in Argentina and Venezuela. In December 2014, the RT en Español network entered the Venezuelan state television network. On June 8, 2015, Ecuador gave the green light to the broadcast of RT in Spanish throughout the country, which will become a reality throughout this year.
