Albalá contributes its infrastructure to the links room of the new Movistar+ platform

Albalá Ingenieros' technology allows the synchronization and distribution of the channels exchanged by DTS and Telefónica, as part of the integration project of the two platforms (Canal+ in DTH and Movistar in IPTV).

Digital Television Distributor (DTS), now in the hands of Telefónica, has incorporated the terminal infrastructure of Albalá Engineers in its links room in the Canal+ building in Tres Cantos (Madrid).

Este equipamiento incluye distribuidores y sincronizadores duales de señal 3G/HD/SD-SDI HVD3001C02 y HFS3000C01, respectivamente, destinados a sincronizar y distribuir los canales que se intercambian DTS y Telefónica, como parte del proyecto de integración de las dos plataformas (Canal+ en DTH y Movistar en IPTV), incluyendo también la distribución necesaria para posibles envíos de canales a otros operadores.

The equipment, designed and manufactured by the Spanish engineering company for professional television, Albalá Ingenieros, will have the purpose of synchronizing and processing all the signals coming from Movistar for distribution and sending to other technical areas of the Canal+ Center (matrix, broadcast, monitoring...), as well as distributing the channels generated in Canal+ for sending to Movistar.

Ángel Pacho, director de Ingeniería y Mantenimiento de Canal Plus, ha destacado que “el suministro de los equipos por parte de Albalá Ingenieros ha sido impecable, tanto en plazo como en forma. Conocemos esta empresa desde sus orígenes y siempre hemos apostado por sus equipos, su relación calidad/precio es imbatible pero, además, en este caso necesitábamos un plazo de entrega imposible y ellos lo han hecho realidad”.

Por su parte, Vicente Polo, director de Albalá Ingenieros, sostiene que “estos comentarios tan positivos sobre nuestro trabajo nos ayudan y obligan a mantener el nivel que ofrecemos a nuestros clientes al máximo nivel que nos sea posible”.
