Albalá supplies terminal infrastructure for Eurovision for PyeongChang 2018

The EBU purchases automatic switches and distributors for Transport Stream (TS) and automatic switches for 3G/HD/SD-SDI video.

Albalá Engineers has been awarded a new supply of terminal infrastructure equipment for the transmission of the television signal of the Eurovision service of the UER during the celebration of the next Winter Olympic Games to be held in PyeongChang 2018 (South Korea) from February 9 to 25 of this year.

This new supply covers a wide amount of modular equipment designed and manufactured by Albalá Ingenieros, mainly including automatic switches and distributors for Transport Stream (TS) of the TL3000 line; and automatic switches for 3G/HD/SD-SDI video from the TL3000 line, with the ability to perform clean “seamless” switching.

Albalá Ingenieros already supplied this line of products for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympic Games, the Baku-2015 European Games and for the Barcelona World Swimming Championships in 2013.

Once again, the high quality standards in the signal processes and the great reliability of the equipment designed and manufactured by Albalá Ingenieros have been valued.
