Albalá supplies new modular signal processing systems to Euskal Telebista
Within the framework of the migration to HD of its infrastructures in Bilbao and the Miramón Production Center (San Sebastián), EiTB has awarded Albalá the supply of modular signal processing systems.
Albalá Engineers, within the ongoing projects of migration to HD of ETB's infrastructure at its headquarters in Bilbao and the Miramón Production Center (San Sebastián), has been awarded the contract for the supply of modular signal processing systems with 3G/HD quality for said centers.
Thus, Albalá has supplied several distributors: HVD3001C01, a double digital video distributor in SDI format for 3 Gbit/s (3G), 1.5 Gbit/s (HD) and 270 Mbit/s (SD) signals with automatic equalization and data clock regeneration (reclocking); a digital video distributor in SDI format, model HVD2000C01; an analog video distributor for HD and SD from 1 loop input to 10 outputs, model AVD3001C03; and a double SD-SDI digital video distributor with 1 input to 4 SD-SDI outputs and 2 analog composite video outputs, model DVM3001C01.
Among the framers supplied highlight the module HDE3000C01, a framer and deframer of digital audio signals sampled at 48 kHz into a 3G/HD/SD-SDI video signal; a double analog audio framer in 3G/HD/SD-SDI digital video, model HAE3000C01; and a double analog audio derapper from 3G/HD/SD-SDI digital video, model HAD3000C01.
As to controllers, the supplied has consisted of the module TLE3001C02, an advanced communications controller for the TL3000 family of modular equipment; and the module TLE2001C02 (familia TL2000).
The equipment contracted by ETB will be used to expand existing systems in order to readapt and harmonize the new HD facilities of the signal delegation system and switching matrix of the Miramón Center the infrastructures of Studio E22 that were renovated in 2013/2014.
In addition, it will allow you to complete the needs of modular signal processing modules with 3G/HD quality initially not foreseen in the previous contracts and which in turn derive from the implementation of the aforementioned studies, integrating into the general infrastructures of ETB (Central Control, common infrastructures, etc.) both at the Bilbao Headquarters and at the Miramón Center.
Finally, EiTB's objective is to renew the rest of the modular signal processing equipment in SD format that is considered obsolete and does not allow operation with the new standards for the production of programs with 3G/HD quality, integrating with ETB studios already migrated to HD.
