Aid for the Digital Dividend, exempt from personal income tax
On June 30, 2015, the deadline for homeowner communities to request aid for the adaptation of collective antennas ended.
The Government has declared exempt the aid received to compensate for the costs derived from the adaptation of collective antennas in buildings affected by the release of the digital dividend.
It has been published in the Official State Gazette, in point two of Royal Decree-Law 9/2015, of July 10, on urgent measures to reduce the tax burden borne by taxpayers of the Personal Income Tax and other measures of an economic nature.
Collective Antenna Adaptations
The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism through the public entity Red.es has granted aid to all those communities of owners who had adapted their collective antenna from June 2014 to June 2015.
The total number of applications has reached 316,552 for an amount of 103 million euros. The aid began to be paid in January 2015 and is being paid at a satisfactory rate, as of today 242,045, 76%, have already been paid or are in the final payment process.
In the process of managing aid requests, the vast majority of subsidies have been paid quickly. These have been carried out electronically through the public entity Red.es
Of the total requests, 49% have been managed by the Property Administrators, while the presidents of the neighborhood communities have been in charge of 37% and the rest have been requested by the installers (11%) or other people.
