Rivage PM10 and Nuage V1.7 lead the innovations that Yamaha will present at IBC 2015
The Japanese manufacturer's new flagship in terms of mixing consoles will be the protagonist, along with the latest version of the Nuage post-production system, at its stand in Amsterdam.
Yamaha will exhibit at IBC 2015 its new flagship in terms of mixing consoles: Rivage PM10. With many exceptional innovations, the new console brings even higher levels of quality, flexibility, functionality and reliability in a large format console that is generating a lot of buzz.
On the other hand, in order to help greater efficiency in everyday tasks, as well as provide a significant boost to productivity and quality in the production studio, the Nuage DAW system is ideal for commercial applications ranging from audio post-production to music recording and mixing. Yamaha will be conducting demonstrations at the RAI Center in Amsterdam using the latest software version 1.7 which supports Steinberg Nuendo 7, and incorporates a multitude of control enhancements, support for GPI devices for improved studio communication and greater control of Avid Pro Tools with plug-in assignments and direct access.
At IBC we will also be able to see the CL and QL digital consoles that have numerous features for broadcast environments such as the possibility of working in 5.1 panoramic surround, surround monitoring, Mix Minus, Frame Delay and Buss Comp 369 compressor in the Premium Rack.
Yamaha will also highlight the new TF range of digital consoles. With features aimed at new users and experienced professionals, but at a very competitive price, the TF range is ideal for applications with tight budgets but that need a powerful, intuitive and fast tool to operate.
Complementing the consoles at the Yamaha stand we will see the new RMio64D Dante/MADI converter and the RSio64-D Dante / Mini-YGDAI interface.
The RMio64-D seamlessly converts between Dante and MADI formats (and vice versa), based on sample rate converters, ensuring that users can simply plug and forget about noise, dropouts or any other issues.
RSio64-D converts between Dante and Yamaha Mini-YGDAI card formats up to a maximum of 64 inputs and 64 outputs. It includes four Mini-YGDAI slots to accommodate cards for a wide variety of input/output formats, as well as processing functions that can be connected to a Dante network for many applications. RSio64-D also supports remote configuration of CL and QL series consoles.
