The new Yamaha Rivage PM7 arrives, the little sister of the popular PM10 live console

It features 120 input channels, 60 mix buses, 24 matrices and a comprehensive selection of 48 high-quality plug-ins to provide mixing capability similar to that of the Rivage PM10.

Shore PM7, the new digital mixing system from Yamaha, offers the user experience of the popular Rivage PM10, the manufacturer's flagship, with built-in portability and flexibility.

The central component of the Rivage PM7 system is the CSD-R7 digital mixing console. Same size as the Rivage PM10 control surface, it has the integrated DSP engine. This provides better system portability and flexibility, while maintaining high operability and the same exceptional and flexible user experience.

The Rivage PM7 incorporates 120 input channels, 60 mix buses, 24 matrices and a comprehensive selection of 48 high-quality plug-ins to provide mixing capability similar to that of the Rivage PM10.

Furthermore, a new dual console function Allows you to connect the CSD-R7 to the CS-R10 or CS-R10-S control surfaces of the RIVAGE PM10 system. This means that, for example, a CS-R10-S can be used in the house, stage-side for monitor mixing, or as a secondary expansion console, depending on space and system scale requirements.

TWINLANe and Dante

Rivage PM7 uses TWINLANe networking technology from Yamaha, Dante or both to provide systems of exceptional capacity and flexibility.

The network Dedicated TWINLANe uses optical cable to manage up to 400 audio channels. Combinations of RPio622 and/or RPio222 I/O racks and HY256-TL or HY256-TL-SMF interface cards enable input through hybrid microphone preamps with analog input stages, taking Yamaha's “natural sound” concept to new heights, as well as digital sections with immaculate virtual circuit modeling of Rupert Neve Designs transformers and processing circuits. SILK, which offer exceptional musicality and atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the new Rio3224-D2 and Rio1608-D2 I/O racks ensure that Rivage PM7 systems can be fully integrated with CL and QL series digital mixers from Yamaha, as well as a range of other Yamaha professional audio products. The HY144-D audio interface card can be added to provide a natural sound input with all the quality of the Rivage PM series, capturing and shaping stage sound with exceptional clarity.

In addition to the new components, version 2.0 of the Rivage PM series firmware will include several new features such as 5.1 surround and “mix minus” capability for broadcast applications, Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5045 primary source booster, dual console functionality and DSP mirroring (Rivage PM10 only), among others.
