AGAPI calls for training sessions on financing and distribution in the audiovisual sector

The conference, in which prominent experts will participate, will take place on September 9 and 10 in the City of Culture of Santiago de Compostela.

The Galician Association of Independent Producers (AGAPI) will hold conferences dedicated to Audiovisuals on September 9 and 10 in the City of Culture of Santiago de Compostela (Hall 2 of the CINC Building). Under the title The new audiovisual model: financing and distribution Topics such as new automatic aids or the importance of the marketing plan will be discussed.

The opening of the conference will be carried out by the director of AGADIC, Jacobo Sutil. The first presentation, The new audiovisual model, will be led by Lorena González (general director of the ICAA). This will be followed by a round table on the topic The role of the producer in the face of the planned changes in the cinema model, which will feature the intervention of producer Emma Lustres (Vaca Films), who will be accompanied by Mabel Klimt (general secretary of FAPAE) and Chelo Loureiro (producer at Abano Produciones). The day will end with Rafael Lambea (general director of Créela SRG) who will talk about CreateSGR. Union of Audiovisual SGR and Finance and Services SGR.

On September 10, the days will resume with the conference The importance of the marketing plan, led by Marta Baldó (director of the Master in Film Business at ESCAC and head of marketing at the WAW Agency) and will end with the intervention of Pedro Peira (producer and distributor at Festimania Pictures) who will address the topic of the Role of distribution in content production.

Entry to the conference will be free, confirming in this mail before September 7. These sessions are subsidized by the Xunta de Galicia, through AGADIC (Axencia Galega das Industrias Culturais) and have the support of EGEDA (Entity for the Management of Rights of Audiovisual Producers).
