History and Doc Spain Time

Carles Bosch, Alejandra Islas and Juan Antonio Pérez-Millán, members of the jury of the 'Tiempo de Historia' section dedicated to documentary film, have awarded the first prize to La Granja de Pas, by Silvia Munt (Spain), "for the expressive sobriety and narrative quality with which it manages to transmit notable information with a high emotional content, on a topic of such importance as the problem of evictions."

The second prize went to I am the people, by Anna Roussillon (France), for “her ability to combine two trends rarely compatible in documentary film, such as the contemplative style and the informative style, in order to narrate the chronology of the Egyptian spring.”

Young Seminci

Mustang has also been liked by the younger audience at Seminci. The film has won the prize in the 'Seminci Joven' section, awarded by popular vote to students between 12 and 18 years old. The Seminci has submitted eight films taken from the different cycles and sections of the 60th Week for evaluation, of which Mustang has been the favorite.
