VSNExplorer demonstrates its full integration with Microsoft Azure at NAB 2016

VSN launches new options in terms of Business Intelligence and reinforces the integration of its PAM with collaborative environments with Avid.

In order to help users control the entire life cycle of content, streamlining the entire workflow, VSN has presented important developments this year in Las Vegas.

On the one hand, we find new functionalities in VSNLivecom that improve the operability of the systems, VSN also launches new options in terms of Business Intelligence and reinforces the integration of its PAM with collaborative environments with Avid.

Regarding the integration with Avid EDLs, this new functionality allows VSNExplorer to download a hotlist in a format compatible with Media Composer (an EDL .aaf file that contains all the hotlist cuts). In this way, it is now possible to finish editing the hotlist with its effects and adjustments from Media Composer, one of the most used non-linear video editors in the industry.

On the other hand, the collaboration that VSN has initiated with You are easy It provides a set of very powerful tools such as the possibility of working with EDLs in low resolution.

But, without a doubt, one of the strong points of VSN at NAB has been its integration of its MAM, PAM and BPM with Microsoft Azure in both on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments. Some of the new high-value-added services that VSN technology now offers, thanks to the integration with Microsoft Azure Media Services, are automatic subtitling (speech-to-text), translation into multiple languages, face blurring, auto-cataloging, among many others.

Another collaboration worth highlighting is the one that VSN has opened with Ross Video. The text tool (Inception) and graphics (Xpression) provide greater power in all solutions that integrate with VSNLivecom and VSNExplorer.

It should be noted that VSNLivecom now allows you to Drag and Drop events to each of the video server channels or auxiliary channels. On the other hand, intelligent channel auto-assignment is a new feature that allows the system to assign a channel according to the event that is broadcast automatically.
