After successfully completing its journey in Spain and becoming a social and television phenomenon, the series The Prince will make the leap to the United States thanks to its broadcast by Univision, the channel aimed at the Spanish-speaking community in this country.

It will be the first Spanish fiction to reach the American channel UniMás, one of the most important Spanish-speaking channels in the United States and a leader among the young audience that is part of the audiovisual giant Univision.

The popular series produced by Telecinco and Plano a Plano has averaged a 25.3% share and 4,800,000 viewers in its two seasons broadcast on the Spanish network, with a special following among young people between 13 and 24 years old (30.9%) and between 25 and 34 years old (30.1%). The Internet and social networks have unconditionally surrendered to the series, generating a mass phenomenon. With an average of 1.8 million monthly unique users on its official website and 36.2 million videos served (of which 26.2 million have been full chapters), it is one of the most followed Spanish fictions on the Internet.

In addition to public support, The Prince has conquered Spanish critics, who have recognized it with the 2014 Ondas Award for Best Series of the Year, the Best Script Award from the Alma Syndicate in 2014, the Award for Best Dramatic Series at the MIM Series Festival in 2014, the Iris Award for Best Actor for Jose Coronado in 2015 and the Award for Best Television Series 2014 at the Costa del Sol International Film Week.

International projection

Fast-paced plots, unexpected script twists, an extraordinary artistic team and the successful combination of love, action and suspense are the main keys to the success of The Prince, a series that has crossed national borders to conquer viewers in other countries. Thanks to the agreements signed with the platforms Direct TV, Claro Video and with the Argentine channel Europa Europa (Argentine channel dedicated to European production), the fiction has reached 20 territories in Latin America, where it is broadcast free-to-air on the Argentine channel Telefé and the Chilean Channel 13.

In addition, international channels such as the Italian Canale 5, the Portuguese RTP, the Croatian Nova TV and the Slovak Pop TV offer the original version of the series dubbed into their respective languages.
