Aicox innovates with solutions designed for broadcast, transmission and satellite

Aicox en BIT Broadcast 2016

Aicox Solutions attended BIT Broadcast 2016 to show the latest solutions from its represented brands as well as some interesting own developments.

Javier García, head of the Broadcast Division of Aicox Soluciones, analyzes in this video interview some of these developments in relation to 4K, IP and OTT environments. At BIT Aicox showed some of the latest solutions Avid (Orad) such as systems for instant replay, PlayMaker, or for on-air channel branding such as 3DPlay.

Also highlights the NewsTouch system of MediaPower which allows the presenter of a space to draw on graphics, images or websites on a tablet, reflecting their instructions on a large screen immediately.

Other solutions shown by Aicox at BIT are the MAM ecosystem of Ether, the object-based storage proposal Xor Media or the systems for contribution, distribution and encoding of Harmonic (including those from the purchase of Thomson Video Networks).

Broadcast and satellite

As far as transmission is concerned, Ángel Bonacasa, head of this department at Aicox, highlights the new family of Flexiva LX transmitters from Gates Air that offer the same features as their “big brothers” but at a competitive price.

Finally, Salvador Gomis, director of the Satellite Department at Aicox, shows the advantages of using a development that the company has carried out in collaboration with Indra e Hispasat.
