A live streaming solution from JVC and KNR will allow 7del7 to bring the Sanfermines 2016 live via stream in HD to the main Spanish and international online media.

7del7 Entertainment is a company that was born in 2012 with the aim of facilitating the development of the informative tasks of press and television professionals who cover the Sanfermines from Pamplona. Since then it has kept the most deep-rooted traditions of the bulls alive thanks to the use of cutting-edge audiovisual broadcasting technologies, and in this 2016 edition it wanted to make an important evolutionary leap to cover live bulls in streaming using the GY-HM200 cameras from JVC with integrated streaming generator to provide a unique live experience thanks to the company's performance KNR which will use the company's Phoenix streaming platform Enetres.

For this project, 7del7 has acquired 15 JVC GY-HM200 cameras that will broadcast everything that happens during the running of the bulls in rigorous live streaming. In addition to being able to enjoy the live video offered by the cameras, they will record all the details and then be able to offer the most relevant moments on a delayed basis.

Federico Isábal, commercial director for Spain and Portugal of JVC Professional, has stated that "the live streaming capacity of these JVC cameras and the capacity to connect to CDN broadcast networks reveals their enormous advantages and perfect adaptability in events such as the Sanfermines. This JVC IP production system facilitates the workflows of many television stations for their telenews and also allows them to cover live events without having to resort to expensive external equipment."

All this impressive content can be seen online on the 7del7 website and in the main Spanish online media thanks to 7del 7 and Pool KNR, live content manager.

The implementation of the solution adopted for the coverage of the event will be carried out by the company KNR, which will use the Phoenix streaming platform from Enetres Media Solutions, which allows for easy management of all aspects related to this type of production and dissemination, both live and on demand. The Phoenix platform uses the latest multi-device video streaming technologies and includes a desktop application for Windows and Mac that acts as a comprehensive management center for all the services it includes.

RTSP Protocol

Enrique Nogueira, CEO of KNR, explained that "it is a small step for the Internet but a big step for streaming since all transmission is carried out using the RTSP protocol, which allows us to send the signal to KNR's central studios in Madrid where the signal is created and encoded for its dissemination through Wi-Fi and fiber connections."

JVC GY-HM200Combining JVC's GY-HM200 cameras with the Phoenix platform covers the workflow of any live IP production from start to finish. The GY-HM200 camera incorporates 1 1/2.3-inch BSI CMOS sensor, integrated 12x zoom lens with optical image stabilizer and 24x dynamic zoom in HD mode. The camera records 4K Ultra HD signal (150 Mbps), 4:2:2 Full HD (50 Mbps) and also SD images, with a 70 Mbps mode that allows 4K recording in smaller, more manageable files using SDHC / SDXC Class 10 memory cards.

It has SDI and HDMI video outputs. The integrated HD streaming generator with Wi-Fi and 4G connection allows live streaming directly from the GY-HM200 to hardware servers or set-top boxes and content delivery networks (CDNs) or YouTube itself.
