The Digital Awardzz Awards have awarded the Digital Awardzz 2016 award in the Most Innovative Development category to the virtual experience of the chapter 'Time in Your Hands' of the RTVE series, the first interactive episode of a television series in the world. The award was collected by Ignacio Gómez, from the Analysis and New Projects area of ​​RTVE; Pablo Lara of Onza Entertainment; and Roberto Moreno of Futurelight House.

The Futurizz Digital Awardzz awards recognize leading companies in the online sector and their work carried out during the last year within the digital business. More than 100 companies submitted their candidatures for these awards, a benchmark event in digital transformation in Spain that recognized nine companies this Thursday for their important work in the field of Spanish business digitalization.

The chapter Time in your hands, an immersive experience developed by RTVE in collaboration with Future Lighthouse and Onza Entertainment, was placed last April at the forefront of global innovation by being the first to integrate virtual reality as part of the narrative universe of a series in the world. . The 3D interactive virtual episode added to the complete transmedia strategy of the fiction.

Ministerio VR It is a unique experience in Virtual Reality in which you can interact with some of the series' regular characters and tour with them several of the most recognizable places in the Ministry, from the entrance cloister to the staircase that leads to the doors of time. .

Time in your hands, about 10 minutes long, features the participation of Jaime Blanch, Francesca Piñón, Juan Gea and the collaboration of Cayetana Guillén Cuervo, and includes an exam based on the cultural content of the series that mixes video game techniques with the most recent developments in Virtual Reality.

Third season

The fantasy and adventure fiction of La 1 is preparing its third season, which will have 13 episodes in which the patrol will continue traveling in time with the same mission: to keep the History of Spain intact. Produced by RTVE in collaboration with Onza Entertainment, created by Javier and Pablo Olivares, the new season will represent a leap in quality from the previous two and will feature significant improvements in production and post-production, with more exteriors and special effects, computer graphics and 3D . The stories will also be enriched with new characters.

The series has been recognized with a long list of awards, among others, the bronze medal at the New York International Television Festival, the Ondas Award, the Fotogramas de Plata for best series, the Madrid Imagen, the Festival Reino Award de León, the FesTVal de Vitoria for the best television series and the best script, or the Panorama Award for the best technical execution in television production among many other awards.
