Among the company's main innovations, its recently released Quality Control product VSNQC stands out to further complement the entire range of tools that cover the complete media flow.
VSN will show on November 9 and 10 at NAB Show New York (Stand 1218) all the new functionalities of its software presented over the last few months, among which its new product VSNQC, the integration of VSNExplorer with online Thesauruses or the latest advances in its HTML5 interface stand out.
With this event, VSN concludes the round of fairs and promotional events of 2016 on the American continent. In this specific case, the team of professionals from the Barcelona technology company will bring to New York the new developments for its range of broadcast solutions that have been presented in recent months on the occasion, among others, of the international IBC fair in Amsterdam.
Among the company's main innovations, its recently released Quality Control product VSNQC stands out to further complement the entire range of tools that cover the complete media flow. This new software allows users to carry out exhaustive control of the quality of their content and detect errors in each of the phases of the media cycle. A new tool that has been launched to enhance the usefulness of VSN solutions from ingestion to broadcast and preservation of content, and at a market price accessible to companies of all types and sizes.
Along with this novelty, another of the main star advances that will be presented is the successful integration of the VSNExplorer solution for media management and business processes with Online Thesauruses to enhance the cataloging function and the use of metadata. Along with this, the latest developments in HTML5 for the interface of this same solution are also expected to generate great expectations among the attending public. Among the latter is the new Dash Player in HTML5 that is currently finalizing its development and that will allow high-quality streaming content to be broadcast wherever and whenever users want, regardless of the device, bandwidth, files and browser they use.
Finally, another notable novelty that will be shown to attendees will be the improved integration of VSNExplorer with the Microsoft Azure Media Services Cloud platform. The new and improved cataloging and media organization functionalities, such as speech-to-text options, auto-cataloging or the latest advances in Keyframes, are now fully operational for users and allow content to be managed in a much more efficient and flexible way to increase productivity and collaborative work between professionals.
VSN's sales director for North America, Robert Duif, highlights that "this improved integration with Microsoft Azure is a reflection of the future towards which the Broadcast and Media industry is heading. It is indisputable that the most cutting-edge technology has infiltrated each and every one of the industry's workflows, as it is also indisputable that we increasingly need more agile, flexible and faster solutions to respond to consumer needs. We are moving towards new Broadcast business models with less investment, recurring expenses more flexible and less onsite equipment. And at VSN we are prepared for it.”
