TVE brings together documentation professionals coinciding with the 60 years of your file
Throughout four round tables, professionals of the world of documentation have analyzed the use and exploitation of digital archives, their openness to society, the management of images of images for production and professional horizons of audiovisual documentaries.
On the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of the first Spanish Television broadcast, the RTVE Documentary Fund held on Wednesday a day with documentation professionals and university students in order to publicize the work of digitalization of the public television archive. The day has been developed in collaboration with the Institute of RTVE and the Department of Library and Documentation of the Carlos III University of Madrid.
Throughout four round tables, professionals of the world of documentation have analyzed the use and exploitation of digital archives, their openness to society, the management of images of images for production and professional horizons of audiovisual documentaries.
Likewise, the latest technological developments for the description and automatic labeling of images have been addressed in a day whose main objective has been to look to the future and exchange ideas and experiences with the educational sector, the company and the profession about the next challenges that will have to face the archives of the television and their professionals.
During the presentations, professionals such as Alberto de Prada, Director of the Documentary Fund of RTVE have intervened; Carlos de Blas, from Castilla-La Mancha Media; José Díaz Fernández Argüelles, from RTVE; Estrella Gutiérrez David, from the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid; Marta Riestra, Quartz Producciones; Nicolás García, from fourteen productions; Virginia Bazán, from RTVE; Daniel García, from LaSexta and Juan Antonio Pastor, from the University of Murcia, among others.
