The Seville European Film Festival surrendered to Robbie Ryan's photography
The Festival thus recognizes Robbie Ryan's work in 'American Honey' for its great vitality, its versatility at the service of the narrative, and its vibrant dynamism.
After winning the Jury Prize at the Cannes Festival, American Honey, directed by Andrea Arnold and starring Shia LaBeouf and Sasha Lane, has been awarded the award for best cinematography at the 13th edition of the Seville European Film Festival, held last week in the Andalusian city.

The film tells the story of Star (Sasha Lane), a teenage girl who, due to her problems at home, decides to run away with a group of young salespeople, who travel the American Midwest selling magazine subscriptions at home. Trying to find his place among this gang of young people, among whom is Jake (Shia LaBeouf), he soon adapts to a wild nightlife, disobeying the law and discovering first love.
