Nearly 50 actors have paraded across the stages Family, the new ensemble comedy on Spanish Television that tenderly addresses the relationships between parents and children and the imperfections of parenthood.
Raúl Fernández, Antonio Garrido, Antonio Resines, Fernando Cayo and Bárbara Goenaga star Family, produced by RTVE in collaboration with Programs and TV (Juan Alexander), and which has a script by José Luis Acosta and direction by Rafa Montesinos, Antonio Recio and Iñaki Peñafiel.
iFamily is the story of two warring brothers. Kike (Raúl Fernández) is a neighborhood scoundrel, gambler and small-time crook, and Luis (Antonio Garrido), a successful businessman, fraudster and white-collar crook. Added to this plot is that of Luis's four children: Laura, Carlos, Miguel and Ana. By pretending what they are not, they will learn what it means to be a family.
Luis never acted as a father and now that he has to and wants to, he can't. Kike always runs away from responsibilities and now the biggest of them comes to him. Girón (Fernando Cayo), a ruthless lawyer, and Curro (Antonio Resines), a professional troublemaker and owner of the bar in the neighborhood where they both grew up, will be each other's advisors. Lola (Bárbara Goenaga) will also appear, a social worker who is as strict professionally as she is insecure personally who will closely follow the children's education. An atypical, current and “connected” family.
The series has been recorded outdoors in the Community of Madrid and on a set of more than 2,000 square meters in which the usual places the family passes through are recreated.
