Conecta Fiction announces the six SGAE Foundation projects chosen for the pitching session
This presentation gives the authors the opportunity to access production companies, television channels and potential investment partners to facilitate the viability of their projects.
Conecta Fiction has announced the name of the six projects from the SGAE Foundation's Television Series Creation Laboratory selected to be presented by their authors on June 21 at the Project Pitching of the SGAE Laboratories of the first edition of the international meeting.
This presentation gives the authors the opportunity to access production companies, television channels and potential investment partners to facilitate the viability of their projects. After the pitching session, it is planned that those responsible for each project will hold individual meetings with all those professional participants interested in their co-production and/or financing.
The pitching session will have the special collaboration of Alberto Vázquez, animation director, illustrator and comic artist. Vázquez's books have been published, in addition to Spain, in countries such as France, Italy, Brazil and Korea and he regularly publishes as an illustrator in magazines such as El País, La Voz de Galicia, Vanity Fair, Communication Arts or Boston Globe magazine. Alberto Vázquez has won three Goya awards, the last two in 2016 for the best animated film for psychonauts co-directed with Pedro Rivero and best animated short film for “Decorado”.
Conecta Fiction is the first international event dedicated exclusively to the co-production of fiction series for television between Europe, Latin America and the Spanish-speaking United States. The first edition will be held in Santiago de Compostela between June 20 and 23, and is organized by the Axencia Galega das Industrias Culturais (Agadic) of the Xunta de Galicia, ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, the SGAE Foundation, and produced by Inside Content.
