Ceproma organizes a workshop on the possibilities offered by the Canon EOS C700

The workshop that will take place on June 15 at the Film Academy in Madrid will be taught by Luis Ochoa and Alfonso Parra.

Ceproma y Canon On June 15, they will organize a workshop in which the creative possibilities of the new EOS C700 camera in terms of digital cinematography and high dynamic range (HDR) capture will be revealed.

The meeting will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the headquarters of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain. The workshop will be taught by colorist Luis Ochoa and director of photography Alfonso Parra.

The Canon C700 comes in two modular models, designed to adapt to different types of recording needs. In its standard model, the C700 comes with a PL or EF mount, with the possibility of changing the mount at Canon technical assistance services. Its version with global shutter (EOS C700 GS PL) is designed to record fast-moving subjects and action scenes and is capable of recording with an incredible Dynamic Range, up to 14 stops (15 in its standard version).

Both models use a Canon Super 35mm CMOS sensor with a sensitivity of up to ISO 102,400 and built-in ND filters, with control of up to 10 stops.

With absolute appeal for high-resolution production, the new updates for the EOS C700 add extra recording modes when using the CODEX CDX-36150, including 4K/QFHD ProRes, 4.5K up to 100fps, 4.5K cinescope at 120fps, 422 HQ at 10-bit and 60fps, 2K and many more. The new update also features an option to update the firmware on the CODEX CDX-36150 RAW recorder.

Equipped with an Ethernet connection (RJ45), the EOS C700 allows broadcast professionals to live stream Full HD recordings over the Internet and also connect to a wireless network using an optional wireless file transmitter (WFT-E6B/WFT-E8).
