MWC 17 Spain Pavilion

The Secretary of State for the Information Society and the Digital Agenda, through the public business entity Red.es, opens the call for companies interested in participating in the Spanish Pavilion within the Mobile World Congress of Barcelona, which will be held in Barcelona from February 26 to March 1, 2018.

In total, 75 SMEs will have the possibility of being part of this institutional representation space (50 with a stand and 25 in the pack visit modality). From August 24 to September 20, companies interested in participating in the Spanish Pavilion of the next Mobile World Congress Barcelona (MWC18) will be able to register through the form enabled at the Red.es Electronic Headquarters.

This initiative is part of the Internationalization Plan that includes the Digital Agenda for our country on the occasion of this annual congress, organized by the Global Systems for Mobile Association (GSMA) and which in its last edition registered 108,000 attendees from 198 countries who during four days were able to see first-hand the developments of a sector in continuous growth. More than 2,000 companies were represented throughout the 100,000 square meters made available to Fira de Barcelona in its facilities in Hospitalet de Llobregat, where journalists from 3,500 international media, industry analysts, government delegations and a good number of both public and private institutions also attended.

For this reason, the Government of Spain, through the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda (MINETAD), a member of the board that makes up the Barcelona Mobile World Capital Foundation, makes a pavilion available to national firms in the area called Congress Square so that they can present their products, seek investors or expand their client portfolio as long as their activity is concentrated in one of the following subsectors: Smart Cities, cybersecurity, fintech, IoT/Industry 4.0, cloud, apps, e-commerce, marketing digital, language technologies, big data, and applications of health and social well-being

Red.es provides two modalities of participation.
