Sony and Ubicast begin a close relationship

The integration of Ubicast solutions with the Sony portfolio offers higher education institutions greater ability to record lectures and presentations, both with superior quality and very simple operation.

Sony Professional Solutions Europe has announced the cooperation project with its external partner UbiCast, líder europeo en soluciones de grabación de clases. Lecture recording is increasingly popular in higher education as a way to offer flexible teaching to students and increase student engagement. Traditionally, students had to attend university classes in person, which entailed restrictions on time, geographic flexibility, and level of participation. With the new collaboration of Sony and UbiCast, more flexible and effective learning is possible with less effort, thanks to exceptional image quality that helps revolutionize the way students digest and disseminate information.

It provides a much greater degree of flexibility and convenience with which students can choose where and when they learn, while enjoying access to on-demand seminars and studies that ultimately increase class participation and attendance rates. Additionally, after the simple session recording process, all post-processing can be done automatically. It is possible to add a simple slide exploration, in addition to searching content by metadata, allowing for more efficient and intuitive learning, ideal for class summary for exam preparation purposes and subsequent work.

Sony has already begun the process of collaboration and installation of these solutions in prestigious higher education institutions throughout Europe.
