'Your face sounds familiar' saw its new stage with 152 m2 of LED screen

The production company Gestmusic Endemol has once again trusted Sono as a provider of audiovisual services for the recordings and live programs of this 'talent show' that is broadcast again on television.

Your face sounds familiar to me has returned to Antenna 3 in its sixth edition with few variations in terms of format, but with a great commitment to spectacularity in the staging of its set.

For this new edition, the producer Gestmusic Endemol has opted once again for I am as a specialist in the integration of audiovisual technology, both for the rental of screens and technical material and providing assistance personnel for recordings and live programs.

In the new scenario, about 156 m² of LED screen of different resolutions are used and distributed as follows:

  • Two side screens, 6×3 meters, from the A3Pro model Roll call, with a resolution of 3.9 mm. for markers.
  • Central concave curved arch, 16×2.5 meters and with a resolution of 4.8 mm.
  • Side platforms for access stairs, with different measurements and resolutions of 4.8 and 4 mm.
  • Coverage with flexible LED screen for the eleven convex curved steps, also of different sizes, and with a resolution of 4 mm.
  • Led screen for the jury table, 3×0.5 meters and 2.9 mm resolution.
  • Abstract construction for the jury background with 4.8 mm resolution.
  • Screen for the bottom of the entrance to the stage of 2.5x2.5 meters with a resolution of 4.8 mm.

Suspended in the air, the assembly of the concave and convex screens has been one of the main technical challenges of this project. The extreme delicacy of the flexible screen with which the structure of the access stairs to the stage has been covered, custom-designed for the occasion, has also posed a challenge in terms of installation and handling.

The configuration and management of screen content includes the new MCTRL 4K processor developed by Novastar, which allows the management of several LED screens of up to 3,840x2,160p for each processor.

Sono's technical staff will be in charge of providing support and technical assistance to the LED screens during the thirteen programs planned for this season, which will be broadcast in prime time on Fridays.
