Mediaset España renews its Board of Directors
Consuelo Crespo, Cristina Garmendia and Javier Díez de Polanco join the governing body as independent directors.
Mediaset Spain It has renewed its Board of Directors with the appointment of the former president of UNICEF-Spain Committee, Consuelo Crespo Bofill; the former Minister of Science and Innovation, Cristina Garmendia Mendizábal and the former CEO of Sogecable, Javier Diez de Polanco as independent directors of the Company.
These appointments are part of the agreements approved on December 20 by the Board of Directors of Mediaset España, at whose meeting the departure of Ángel Durández Adeva, José Ramón Álvarez-Rendueles and Borja Prado de Eulate as directors took place, due to the legally established period of 12 years having elapsed so that they could continue to hold the status of independent directors, and with the aim of allowing the Board and Committees of the Company to maintain their structure and composition. in accordance with the different categories of directors provided by law and, in particular, in relation to the presence of independent directors within it.
