DLO Producciones will bring to television the life of 'El Inmortal', leader of the now defunct organization 'Los Miami'

The series produced by the Banijay Group subsidiary is based on Juan Carlos Peña, discovering a Spain dotted with corruption, power, revenge and betrayal.

DLO Productions (Banijay Group) launches a new and ambitious fiction project: the production of the series about Juan Carlos Pena, known as The Immortal, founder and leader of the now defunct organization The Miami.

The story of The Immortal, who, according to the Police, controlled Madrid's cocaine trafficking for three decades and led the bloodiest criminal gang in Spain, The Miami, contains all the ingredients to make it a highly successful series: corruption, power, revenge, betrayal, love and luxury.

After learning about Peña's career in the report I, the 'immortal' Miami, confess..., in which he decided to break his silence, Jose Manuel Lorenzo, CEO of DLO Producciones, has reached an agreement with him to bring his exciting life to fiction, both in the form of a novel and a television series. The journalist Javier Negre, author of the report, will be the person in charge of writing said novel, and will also participate in the scripts of the series.

Un mundo, el de ‘El inmortal’, en el que la ley que prevalece es la ley del más fuerte, y que ahora Juan Carlos Peña, por cuyo asesinato se han pagado importantes sumas de dinero, ha decidido sacar a la luz.
